The journey begins with a deep reading of the client, the site, the daily routine, the desires, and the family's lifestyle. Before designing, 8HAUS seeks to understand what truly matters: how the home will be lived in, what experiences it should provide, and how architecture, nature, and well-being can translate that vision into a clear path.

With the vision defined, the project takes shape as an authorial work. 8HAUS transforms desires, references, and sensations into architecture, exploring proportion, light, materiality, landscape, and atmosphere. TECHNICAL DIRECTION

After creation, the journey advances to the technical consolidation of the project, with decisions on feasibility, coordination, performance, materials, construction systems, and detailing. During oversight, the approach is guided by technical direction and decision support, preserving the essence of the project.

Felipe Rodrigues and Julie Marques Schultz share more than a life: they share a vision of architecture. 8HAUS is the winner of the 2nd edition of the ENICS Prize for Best Residential Project of the Year in Steel Frame and an official ENICS Ambassador (Brazil's National Meeting on Dry Construction Innovation).

ORIGIN

The name 8HAUS^® is born from the union of symbol, sound, and meaning. The number 8 refers to the German word acht, whose sound is close to "art", evoking art, precision, balance, and continuity. HAUS, in turn, represents the home in its deepest essence: shelter, protection, comfort, and belonging.

From this fusion emerges the identity of 8HAUS^®: a high-end residential architecture that unites original authorship, technical rigor, and sensitivity to the way of living. Each project begins from understanding the client, the land, and the surrounding nature, transforming desires, routine, and landscape into residences with personality, proportion, and permanence.

The origin of 8HAUS^® also reflects the union between two complementary visions. The technical, rational, and strategic reading meets an intuitive, aesthetic, and sensory perception, creating an architecture that balances constructive precision and atmosphere.
